Conveniently located 10 minutes walk from the central train station in the heart of Oslo. A modern hotel with up to date rooms and fittings. Rooms are spacious (compared to many hotels), but no fridge, lockbox or coffee maker. However, there is always free coffee available at a point near reception. The beds are comfortable and the large windows opened for a fresh coastal breeze. The bathroom was excellent. Rooms are cleaned and towels renewed after every forth day; more often if you request it in reception. The biggest plus with this hotel is that breakfast (in the breakfast dining area) is included. Breakfast here is an enormous spread from fresh fruit and juices to pickled fish, and everything in between. In a city where a simple meal for two can easily cost over $120, the idea of filling up on a free breakfast, likely to last you most of the day, is very appealing. Make no mistake Oslo is an extremely expensive city (a beer for $15 a pint), so an excellent very reasonably priced hotel with an outstanding free breakfast is a real fined. There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel, the food is good but limited to various burgers or a chicken salad. Tip: buy a Ruter (#) travel card from the Visitor Information Desk which is in the white building to the left of Central railway station as you exit it. This is if you are staying about a week, it is cheap and will allow you free travel on local trains, trams, busses, the underground and ferry boats. I think it is far better value, and more useful, than the Oslo tourist card.

Nice location, easy walk to stores, restaurants, and landmarks. Staff was very nice and helpful. The price was good for the area. Early check-in was totally worth it for us for an extra 20 dollars. The daily breakfast was excellent! There was a large selection of items, hot and cold. The hotel was quiet during both our stays.

The breakfast was excellent and the hotel is located in the middle of the city so it was close to everything. Even though the main street was noisy when out in it, our room was really quiet with no outside disturbance. There are plenty of things to see and do locally within easy walking distance. The atmosphere at the hotel was friendly and relaxed, you could check in and out by yourself and make your own key cards. The bed was comfortable and the temperature controllable. Although there are no drawers or wardrobes there were plenty of hooks for your possessions. We only had one pillow each to start with but it was no problem to ask at reception for another which was supplied straightaway.

The location of the hotel is excellent — right in the heart of the city, very close to the train and bus stations, shopping area, the Opera House, and everything you need. The service was great, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were decent, though the air conditioning was weak and could be improved. Soundproofing was excellent, and I had no issues with noise. Breakfast was okay, but it could use more variety. The options were quite limited. Overall, a good stay with a fantastic location and friendly staff.

The location of the hotel is amazing. I was afraid that due to the fact it was near popular among people street in Oslo it would be loud and noisy but it wasn't. The bed was comfortable,quick the access with a card, lifts, fast and convenient check in and check out. WiFi was okay, Bfast was also nice.
